About Us
At Pollywogs Child Development Center our mission is to foster a love of learning through hands-on, child guided experiences.
Nestled comfortably in serene North Stonington, Pollywogs allows our youngest learners to flourish in a calm, beautiful, nature inspired environment. Utilizing our inviting spaces, trained teachers, and the state of Connecticut's Early Learning and Development Standards, Pollywogs Child Development Center provides the highest quality care and education.

Our indoor play space consists of an impressive 3000 square foot "rainy day" room, allowing room to run, get our energy out and gross motor skill building.
Care 4 kids and subsidy from military (call for details) is accepted. Call to discuss tuition options with the Director.

Outside our students will have the opportunity to explore nature at our frog pond, or take nature hikes in the woods, or even have fun gardening. FOOD PROGRAM
Pollywogs believes in a holistic approach. We believe in the whole development of a child; nourishing mind and body. Every year the pre-school children plant a beautiful vegetable garden. This year we will use that garden in our whole food program. The children will grow their own food that will be used in their meals. We use natural composting for fertilizer and we do not use pesticides. I am so excited to announce Pollywogs will offer all meals and snacks. We will use only whole, natural, non-processed food. We have chickens and fresh eggs. Food prepared by a gourmet chef!
