Welcome to Pollywogs Child Development Center, where we nurture a love of learning through engaging, hands-on experiences tailored to each child's unique journey. Our holistic approach ensures that every child develops in a supportive and enriching environment. Located in the tranquil setting of North Stonington, our nature-inspired spaces allow young learners to thrive. With a spacious 3000 square foot indoor play area, we provide ample opportunities for energetic play and gross motor skill development, all while adhering to Connecticut's Early Learning and Development Standards.
HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

If a major holiday falls on the weekend, we may be closed the Friday before or the

Welcome to our facility, located in the historic Raspberry Junction building at 417 Norwich-Westerly Road (Route 2) in North Stonington. We provide a nurturing environment for infants, waddlers, toddlers, and pre-k along with a comprehensive Kindergarten Prep program. Our before and school programs are designed for children with exciting activities to promote learning and fun. Come visit us and discover the perfect place for your child's growth and development!
Pollywogs is a place where learning comes alive through play! Our expansive 3,000 square foot indoor play area is designed for fun, providing a perfect hang-out space for our after-school kids. Outside, the adventures continue with opportunities to explore our frog pond, take nature walks, watch chickens and learn about their behavior or work in the garden. With over 2.5 acres of land, there's always something exciting to discover together!
FOOD PROGRAM
Pollywogs embraces a holistic approach to each child's development by nourishing both mind and body. Each year, our preschool children cultivate a vibrant vegetable garden, and this year, we're thrilled to incorporate their homegrown produce into our whole food program. With a commitment to natural composting and no pesticides, we ensure that every meal is wholesome and healthy. Pollywogs provides all meals and snacks, featuring only whole, natural, non-processed foods, including fresh eggs from our very own chickens, all prepared by a gourmet chef!
